Professional info

 

T.Lo has been in the VFX industry nearly 15 years, worked in almost all the major VFX studios in the United States and Canada. Her professional experiences not only includ Movie or TV post production, but also animation, game and pre-production planing.

T.Lo served as an senior artist in Industrial Light and Magic, San Francisco. She was pointed to supervise the outsourcing work from the vendor in China.  She introduced the pipeline and workflows from ILM, trained and build the first digital environment and matte painting department that have comparable skill set and performance against western studios. 

​

Since the digital environment and matte painting department has been establish by T.Lo, she then went on for more challenge work as the VFX Creative Director. Help Client to blocking the visual story telling method even before the production starts. 

 

She mediate producer and VFX supervisor to make production plan, working with Art Director to visualize the project, giving on set shooting advice and supervising the post production work. Make sure every production stage transfer to the next one smoothly and help the director and VFX supervisor stay in the core of visually story telling.

T.Lo was strongly trained in traditional arts. As well as, extensive 3D computer graphics, knowledge in digital sculpting, modeling, texturing and 3D layout. A good eye for light, color, balance. A creative visualizer who love challenging art work. A very hard worker also capable of working with team or independently.

 

Ability to organize and communicate artistic and technical information to Director, VFX supervisor, team members and management. Able to translate between artistic requirements and technical aspects. Able to self-managing and scheduling tasks according to production goals.

 

Leadership skill, able to lead big team in different location and train new artist, test pipeline and set up work flow for new show, test new software and set up proper hard wares.
